System Installation

StormChambersT are less expensive, quicker and easier to install than other types of underground storm water systems. The side portal feed provides greater flexibility in engineering and hydraulic design, eliminating circuitous routing of feed pipes from inlet structures to entry point of a header pipe. StormChambersT may also be used in place of corrugated metal, or HDPE pipe for storm water conveyance comparable to a 48 inch diameter pipe, with the added benefit of infiltration and water quality enhancement.

HydroLogic Solutions' StormChambersT are designed as an underground stormwater retention or detention chamber which also facilitates sediment management. The top portal provides an identified area to cut out for placement of a 10" PVC riser for access to accumulated sediment deposits. Vacuum trucks are used to remove sediment deposits and their associated nutrient, pollutant and debris components.

HydroLogic Solutions' StormChambersT are designed with side portals to facilitate the feed and outflow of stormwater. Their use eliminates the need for manifold header pipe systems required for all other plastic stormwater chambers. Stormwater retention/detention costs are reduced, the footprint of the chamber system is reduced, and a quicker installation of your underground stormwater management system results.
